What drives your life?

What drives your life? (I know I should be in bed by now... Let me just blog a little more here, k?)
Everyone's life is driven something. What is the directing, guiding force in your life? It may be a problem, a pressure, a deadline... Or some are gulit, painful memories, haunting fear or an unconcious beliefs and values.

Guilt driven people:
We can be products of our past, but we can choose not to be prisoners of it! God's purpose in our lives are not limited by our past. God is specialised in giving people fresh starts. He can turn all our scars into stars!

People driven by resentment and anger:
They hold on hurts and never get over them. Instead of forgiving, they rehearse it over and over again in their minds. Resentment always hurt you more than it does to the person you resent. Those who have hurt you in the past cannot continue to hurt you unless you hold on to the hurt! So, learn from it and let it go... (I let go hurt by holding on love. Love covers all, remember?)

Fear driven people:
These people often miss out great opportunities because they don't venture out. Fear keeps us from growing into someone God intends us to be! Weapons against fear? Faith and Love. (yes, love again ^^)

Materialism driven people:

We can have the desire to have possessions in life, but that cannot become our goal, our purpose in life! Don't think the more you have, the happier you'll be... You are wrong. And you will prove yourself wrong, just in time to come you'll know. You know why going shopping and splurging only provide you a split second of happiness? Because our value is not determined by our valuables. God says the most valuable things in life are not things. Real security doesn't comes from a boyfriend who tells me I'm loved. Nor how many pretty dresses to sercure the attentions I get. Real sercurity comes from a relationship with God. When you no longer have to put up an act to impress anyone. (Hey, I tried pleasing everyone, and it's tiring... How long can we act anyway?)

Relations driven people: Expectations of their parents may become the reason they are breathing, for relations driven people. Maybe we've tried too hard to please everyone around us, hoping to be recognised in return. Being controlled by opinions of others is a guaranteed way to miss life's purpose in our lives. Sercurity doesn't comes from a boyfriend who tells you that you're loved. (You'll keep worrying for the day when he wouldn't...) Real sercurity comes from a someone who can love you unconditionally. Love you when you're most ugly(just wake up look?!), most unlovable, most selfish, most unacceptable... Only Jesus can love you that way. Because He doesn't have love, but He IS love!

Make sure you're driven by something which deserves your attention and focus. When life has meaning, one can bear almost anything; without it, nothing's bearable. Without God, life has no purpose. Without meaning, life has no significance or hope. We need the right hope to sustain us, not temporary, but forever! When you want to know the purpose for an invention, you go to the inventor or the manual instructions. When you want to know the purpose of your life, go to the Creator, God, and He's manual instructions, the Bible.

Be driven by the reliable, unfailing force.
The true purpose for living.

Lalala~

God leaves no details to chance.
He deliberately planned big pi-kangs.
Messy hair. Lots of hair pins.
God's purpose took into account all human error, and even sin.

Found your purpose, big mouth?? HAH!
