Voice at the back.

Times are different.

It's not that we didn't work, that we didn't reach our aims.

Is that we worked too much, that we can't reach them.

You are right that I've always made "not necessary wrong things" really WRONG. And "not all bad things" really BAD. You're right that I have to be convinced to accept new concepts. Ya, I'm someone ignorant and uninterested in current fads and manners. And yes, I always take my wonted place, unwilling to shift. Inflexible, traditional and old-fashioned thinking = CL.

That's my point all along:
We're TOO different.
So don't try. I'm not changing.
Don't expect. I'm staying this way.
How can different directions head to the same place?
Even if it's able, the journey has itself defeat its purpose.

Amazing how patient our LORD is to us. I mean it's like: We keep falling, He keeps picking. And how stubborn are we going the wrong way, how persisting will He be to guide us back. Where's the worth of that lost sheep found? So exactly what difference does it make to have us with Him? His Kingdom is not anything lesser without me. Surely He is self sufficient...

"God whispers in peace and shouts in trial" I remember, from somewhere, someone. How true. We need not wait for God to shout. Heed when He's just gently reminding and mercifully warning. Better turn around fast when the ark's still open for us. That's when Whispering Hope hums in my mind.

People, don't be discouraged nor be frightened by the tough paths ahead. Tough times don't last, tough people do. Remember?! And for sure that God's grace is more than what you and me can imagine, don't hestitate to come with faith! The best promise has delivered to us: God's grace is complete in our weaknesses.

Rick Warren says in Power to change your life,: "Come to God and repent! Ask for forgivness thousand times a day of the same thing, He'll still be there to extend His mercy." This fused me with much faith. Faith transfer?! Haha... Maybe. But wonder how is RW thinking about Obama's seating. Pastor Paul has placed his peace.
