I am trying...

Well, I had different kind of experiences recently... Thanks to people beside me, who, a way or another, pushed me into these pleasant and rewarding progress.
First, the KTV:
It was fun for all and that donkey years since I last went to KTV with Joy, Tracy, Ben and Derrick+company... But, I didn't know ah Ben has been footing such O.o bills for us. Make sure we split it next time ya! I did try singing that day. Let's put result aside...

Xiu Mei wants to plan a birthday celebration this friday and I spent my leave day(supposely to study for BTT) with her at Mac to discuss her party. Calls after calls from her to confirm this, assure that. And I used to dislike picking up calls to a huge extend. But, suprisingly, I became as excited as her, working towards all details of her birthday party. Although the endless "I don't know, if I am the one for you..." keeps singing, but I know deep down that the caller is getting something from me that's why she keeps calling. And to be able to provide, I'm thankful for the opportunity. I'm trying to start liking to pick up calls.

Met up with primary school friends yesterday, after KL came back from HK. She's here with mum to sell their house and to "som-pa" to be a Singapore citizen. Haha, had fun recalling what we did when we were little green kidos running about. Now, everyone has lived a different life. Outlived SailorMoons and Titanic stickers, outgrown pepsi-cola123 and "friend/don't friend you". But, how different are we actually? Very much the same facing stress and struggling to meet expectations. Anyway, we talked about stock markets, property values and also oil prices. I tried bringing up what Bible has got to say about these changes in world, they were amazed Bible includes these. I tried!

Had a special exposure on job-seeking. As a typical Singaporean, I've never went store-to-store asking if they would like to hire workers before. (Maybe also because I never expect myself to work in a retail store...) But there a Malaysian I knew recently, Wei Ying, who requires work urgently that we accompanied her to AMK Hub to job hunt. With my heels, I almost died that day, following after with a lesson with Wenni T..T Having to smile and ask humbly for work, leaving politely despite shop tenders' *pui-attitude. It was such a turn-off to me that some merely shakes their head and walk off. I tried to smile...

It's only when you reach a level lower in humanity, you accelerate a level higher. Sweet fruitfulness comes only after bitter experiences, values of life improve only after standard of living deproves.
"Opportunities are often missed by man because they are dressed in overalls and look very much like work."
